Edward R. Park
Born into a family of artists, Edward was seemingly destined to become the internationally recognized artist that he is today. At the age of five, his father and brother, accomplished artists themselves, began teaching Edward watercolors. Since then, he has avidly continued this journey, both on his own, and through formal training.
Edward studied at Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art in France, and received his Bachelors of Fine Arts at Ringling College of Art and Design. His education, coupled with fifty years of experience, has allowed him to master his skill across different mediums and genres. Edward’s unique style encompasses a vast range from abstract to realism, while expressing his passion and philosophy.

“A painting should be more than a decoration that fills an empty space on a wall. It should be a treasure that is passed on to following generations in order to contribute its valuable emotional environment to our descendants. With this in mind, I paint subjects that give us images of peace, softness, and warmth.”
Edward is known for his variety of styles, unlike other artists who tend to remain within a singular expression. To fully embody a subject, as it relates to life, requires a broader range of expression.
His use of various brush and knife techniques captures the range of feelings one has. The viewer’s emotions will resonate as one views the broad scope of subjects that are captured so thoroughly in his creations.
Edward’s work has won numerous awards, and is coveted by professional and celebrity art collectors, including the late Burt Reynolds.
